Holmes now was in the room that Helen was suposed to be in and suddenly the light was lit in the stepfathers room, and then Sherlock jumped and hit the bellrobe under the air-vent. Then there was a little whistle and then a scream and Holmes ran to the other room and there was the stepfather dead and with a speckled band on him. It was no band it was a Indian snake that the stepfather used to kill Helens siste .....

On June 17th about the hour of midnight, Tom and his best friend Huck were out in the grave yard trying to get rid of warts, when they witnessed a murder by Injun Joe. At the time Muff Potter was drunk and asleep so Injun Joe blamed the murder him (Muff Potter). They knew if crazy Injun Joe found out they knew, he would for sure kill them. Tom wrote on a wooden board "Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer swear to keep mum about this and they wish they may drop down dead in their tracks if they ever tell and rot", then i .....

.... moments as well. The scene with Billy Bibbit breaking down emotionally in front of the Nurse and then eventually committing suicide were among the most dramatic. Nevertheless, the most dramatic moment was when the new McMurphy was revealed to the viewers. Up to that point we were used to McMurphy being a lively and cocky character. What we were exposed to was a character with totally contrary characteristics. He looked like a dead corpse with just enough energy to breathe. This was a truly moving scene that lead to Chief suffocating the lifeless body. .....

.... and made her friends lie just so she would not get in trouble for her sin. Abigail's behavior and involvement of others created a more complex reason to judge her as less respectable of the two. Hester was not secretive about committing her crime as Abigail was. Abigail is even described as "an orphan with an endless capacity for dissembling" (page 9). This proves that she tried to cover up her actions. Hester did not try to hide the fact from the townspeople that she was pregnant; she only tried to conceal the identity of the father of her baby. .....

.... job of getting to a good angle in order to include as much detail as possible. I think it is very interesting looking at her pictures taken from during the war. I would like to go downtown to take some grand view photographs, including lots of detailed subjects. I like to develop the pictures in black and white because it looks neat. White also does a good job of shooting pattern samples. I would also like to try and take more pattern samples. Two photographs that I enjoy are of an old man and a house in India. The first picture is titled, Too Weak to Stand, Ind .....

The explorers explain that the island is deserted but there is enough food to keep them alive. Jack and the hunters promise to supply meat. Ralph makes a rule that whoever is in possession of the conch shell is allowed to speak. Ralph proposes the idea of a si .....

George made a very shocking but wise decision. By killing Lennie while Lennie is thinking about his favorite place, a place of his own and filled with furry rabbits. This way Lennie will be happy when he dies, and George would not be hurting him. George is smart and loving at the same time. He just can't live to see his friend to suffer and to be confuse by all the pain so he kills Lennie for his ow .....

.... When Caputo gave the orders to kill Le Du and Le Dung, I don’t think that he knew that were not Viet Cong. During war, innocent people are killed all the time in trying to win the fight. I do not understand how action is only taken on selective occasions. I am sure that many innocent women and children are killed when bombs are dropped unexpectedly, I do not see how this is any different. The sole aim of this war was to kill Viet Cong. I think that it would be very difficult to distinguish between the Viet Cong and civilians, especially because many Viet Con .....
