The True Sinners
Number of words: 1915 - Number of pages: 7.... to hurt others. Hester’s sin is that her passions and love were of more importance to her than the Puritan moral code. This is shown when she says to Dimmesdale, “What we did had a consecration of its own. We felt it so! We said so to each other!” Hester fully acknowledged her guilt and displayed it with pride to the world. This was obvious by the way she displayed the scarlet letter. It was elaborately designed as if to show Hester was proud of what she had done. Hester is indeed a sinner; adultery is not a minor affair, even today. On the other hand, her sin .....

The Celestine Prophecy
Number of words: 436 - Number of pages: 2.... the monotone authorial voice," says Moyle. A major problem I had
with reading The Celestine Prophecy was keeping track of who was who; the
characters have little or no distinction between them, and it was a bit
confusing because he keeps encountering the same people in different situations.
Another thig is Redfield repeats himself and the insights, and I'm assuming
he does it on purpose but it gets monotonous. Moyle calls it "considerate," but

was to make notes and think about .....

They were prohibited from many jobs and professions even El Parker, a very well educated Native American, who had to obtain aid of his friend U.S. Grant before he could join the union army and fight in the Civil War.
