Personal Writing: My Grandmother

upon end and watch the ducks and the geese swimming by on the river and if
it were warm enough outside she would crumble up some bread and feed it a
little at a time to them.
In the summer time my grandmother and whoever happened to be at the
house would sit out on the sundeck for hours and talk about anything and
everything imaginable; she was known as the neighborhood gossip queen. The

Personal Writing: My Senior Prom
Number of words: 775 - Number of pages: 3.... smell of hors d'oeurves served to whet the appetite of all in
attendance. The hickory smell of beef stood out to draw everyone near. The
shrimp had a salty smell with a hint of ocean water. The bell peppers, both
green and red, had a tart smell, compared to their fleshy counterparts. My
taste buds watered, but nothing could compare to the next course I was about to
see.
After devouring the hors d'oeurves, the main course was set before us.

Creative Writing: Stanley

beginning, his prospects seemed nothing but grim. In Stanley's mind, work
was life and life was hard, so this is how work must be. He hated this
thought, and therefore his own existence, which was his mind-set as he

Personal Writing: Disaster Hits Village !
Number of words: 308 - Number of pages: 2.... Fortunately our
house was one of the old solid houses. We started helping the nabours clearing
their properties.
We thought that everything was over, but no. All of a sudden the ground started
shaking, more and more. I heard someone scream "It's an earthquake". I ran
towards the house, but I never got inside. All of a sudden something fell in my
head, and I passed out. The next thing I now I'm laying in my bed. I get up and
looks out the window. Everything so far I can see is destroyed, except from our

The Orange Colored Sphere
Number of words: 593 - Number of pages: 3.... looks as if somebody could have cut a pea sized hole into the end, inside of which several lumps overlap each other. The closest thing I can think of that resembles it is a thin person’s belly button.
The way the outside of the orange feels is also interesting. When I first pick up the orange it is cool to the touch. The slightest squeeze will dent the surface, only to just spring right back into shape. I can feel those dime shaped dents easier than I can see them. The surface is also very slick.

My Job At E-Dak

information highway, E-Dak quenches an unending and growing thirst for bandwidth.
For me E-Dak has meant working at the fourth fastest growing company in Silicon
Valley, with $500 thousand of revenue exploding to over $60 million in four
short years. It has also meant playing a role in the information revolution.
E-Dak gives me a broad business perspective. It's relatively small size
facilitates a close interaction with department heads. If had I stayed in

Creative Writing: My Summer Off
Number of words: 1528 - Number of pages: 6.... to the moment I was issued the dictum “go to school or
get a job”, at which point I became the world's greatest advocate of off-season
learning. Besides, I was only fifteen and the workplace just wasn't ready for
me. So I thumbed through the course book, singing a chorus of no's until I
