other circumstances would have been harmless. Most AIDS patients die from
opportunistic infections rather than from the AIDS virus itself. The initial
infection is characterized by diarrhea, erysipelas and intermittent fever. An
apparent recovery follows after 2-3 weeks, and in many cases the patient remains
without symptoms and functions normally for years.

the penetration of blood-borne cancer treatments. It spreads to distant
sites by the breaking off of malignant cells, which move through the blood
and lymphatic systems, attach themselves, and begin to grow as new colonies.
Malignant tumours are d .....

Should a person and their family be forced to spend thousands of dollars a day on medical expenses just so the patient can continue living a life he doesn't even want to keep? This medical treatment, in some instances, can only extend a life by mere weeks. In theory, this treatment is just adding on more weeks of pain and suffering. As a community, we can encourage HIV/AIDS testing, but will it be taken advantage of? Since these are adults being familiarized with HIV/AIDS, how to contract it, the consequences, and the raw statistics, they will probably disregard all of the information. Camus’ major themes; The way a society deals with an epidemic is to blame it one
someone else. Twenty years ago, when AIDS emerged in the US, homosexual men
became the target of harsh and flagrant discrimination, and even today are still
held accountable by some beliefs. While we may no longer lynch in the nineties,
we do accuse innocent groups, like the gay male population, for the birth and
explosion of AIDS in our society. Given, there are some differences between each
respective situation, but t .....

Abortion: Pro Choice
Number of words: 1727 - Number of pages: 7.... In 1973, the United States
Supreme Court decided that as long as the baby lived in the womb, he or she
would be the property of the mother. Because of this decision almost every
third baby conceived in America is killed by abortion, over one and a half
million babies a year (Willke vii). Many countries have followed our
decision on the abortion issue and some of these include Canada, England,
and France. Other countries still believe abortion should be illegal, they
include Germany, Ireland, and New Zealand. Although many believe that
abortion is a women's choice .....
