A Friar is defined as a man who is a member of any various monastic orders of the Roman Catholic Church. He was jolly and merry and wore a long hanging hood that was attached to his cape. His voice was gay and sturdy and his eyes twinkled like stars. His neck was whiter than a lily flower but strong enough to butt a bruiser down. The Friar is described as a "limitour" a person who begs on the behalf of the poor. He is a bachelor on a love hunt, a crooked business and does complete his duties as a Friar. The Friar knows many beautiful women, many affluent men, and rarely associates with the class of people he should live ....
