Karl Marx and Alexis de Tocqueville both lived in the time of the French Revolution. Yet they had drastically different views regarding their thoughts about the revolution, where society was headed, and whether or not certain aspects of the revolution were indeed good or bad for the people.
Marx believed that it was the class struggles between the bourgeoisie and the proletariats that were the cause of this revolution.
