In the following essay I am going to be discussing how values changed from the Hellenic period to the Hellenistic period, and what factors led to those changes. The values I will be looking at include how humanism changed to individualism, how idealism changed to realism and how rationalism changed to empiricism. The period of time that covers the Hellenic to the Hellenistic period is 336 BC to 327 BC and occurred in Greece and Persia, which is now more commonly referred to as Ancient Greece.
