After the rebellion, Snowball took control and broadcast his ideas upon desprate ears. “Vote for Snowball and the three day week…” (p.34) Snowball spread propaganda that would promote Animalism by building a windmill. This windmill was to be used for luxuries that would make life better for everyone on Animal Farm. Snowball also said that although the construction would be difficult all animals would benefit in the long run. His positive attitude, ideas and propaganda excited the animals so much that they wanted to build it, until the demise of Snowball .....

.... note of humor present in the narrative, which adds to the sense of danger that is present making deals that one does not intend to keep. Commenting on the story, Larry L. Stevens notes that "This tale,..., comically presents the results of valuing the dollar above all else." This story does a very good job of conveying a message to the reader about human values. In the story Tom is seen as a very self-centered man who cares only for himself and his own well being. If that is not enough, starting on page 62 10 begins a speech lasting 2 pages in which he spews out his views of people like the defendant: “Human life doesn’t mean as much to them as it does to us…And they are-wild animals.” 10 is an impatient and uncaring/unconcerned person. It is made clear by viewing his lines that 10 does not take his part on the jury seriously and only wants to reach a consensus as quickly as possible. .... impoverished. Idgie Threadgoode is the perfect embodiment of humor. Her wisecracks and tall tales helped her to face a number of less-than-comfortable situations throughout the novel. A prime example of her use of humor was with Smokey Lonesome. When Smokey first comes into the café for a bite to eat, he is so nervous that he can’t stop shaking and he most certainly cannot eat. Ben and his father work on ways of keeping himself under control and that shows the role parents need to play with children with ADD. By using this book in my classroom, I would explain the ways ADD can effect a child. Probably some of my students will have ADD and those who do not understand.
