The Nuclear Power Debate
Number of words: 779 - Number of pages: 3.... the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is responsible for half of man made
gases contributing to the Greenhouse Effect, and has sparked action from the UN
Intergovernment Panel on Climate Change. Their consensus is a concern for the
environment in the next century if fossil fuels continue to be used, even at
present global levels. The Panel claims that for carbon dioxide to be
stabilised to safe levels, a 50-80% reduction in all emissions would be required.

Number of words: 574 - Number of pages: 3.... toward the west-northwest.
When Andrew reached the north-central Gulf of Mexico, the high pressure system to its
northeast weakened and a strong mid-latitude trough approached the area from the
northwest. Steering currents began to change. Andrew turned toward the northwest and
its forward speed decreased to about 8 kt. The hurricane struck a sparsely populated
section of the south-central Louisiana on the 26th. The landfall location is about 20 n mi
west-southwest of Morgan City.
Andrew dropped sufficient rain to cause local floods even though the hurrica .....

Muscles In The Human Body
Number of words: 859 - Number of pages: 4.... is a voluntary muscle. Its contractions are short and strong, providing the force needed for movement. The muscle contractions produce and provide some heat needed in the body.
Skeletal muscle tissue is made up of smaller fibers called myofibrils. These myofibrils are composed of even smaller protein filaments. These filaments can be either thick or thin. The thick filaments are made of the protein myosin, and the thin filaments are made of the protein actin. The arrangement of the myosin and actin gives skeletal muscle its striated (or striped) appearance.

Aquaria In Relation To Science
Number of words: 529 - Number of pages: 2.... to a large amount and 2 days later on when nitrites spike generally.
There are 2 types of filtration for fish tanks biological and mechanical. Biological is what I spoke about in the previous paragraph. Those bacteria grow best on objects besides gravel. That is why having plastic plants and other décor in the tank doesn’t just make the tank look nice but also give the bacteria a better place to grow. Mechanical filtration aids in biological filtration in two ways, the water is filtered through a medium that helps dissolve the ammonia and nitrites into sm .....

favored traditional gender roles described themselves as more traditionally

I believe that one's immediate family, rather than society, has a
greater influence on gender roles. For example, girls who group up without
a mother or older sisters tend to be less feminine because all they have
are male role models. Another example of how the family influences gender
roles is whether or not .....
